WELCOME to DEFFEBACH GALLERY

The Deffebach Gallery resides in a recently renovated 1800’s Federal counting house in Hudson’s historic Warren Street district, which hosts some of the oldest and historically significant buildings in New York’s Hudson Valley. The aesthetic excellence of the architecture is supported by the diverse collection of antique shops and art galleries and on Warren Street ranging in styles from the Hudson River Landscape “Luminists” to a curious mix of decorative art remnants from the Gilded Age, to a wide variety of Modern and Contemporary Arts.

The Deffebach Gallery has its own richness and range in a collection of contemporary art by members of the Deffebach family, most notably the late second generation abstract painter, Lee Deffebach. The collection of Lee’s brother and sister-in-law, Bonnie & Harry Deffebach contains works of many modern, abstract, Spanish and Latin American painters and sculptors. The second floor gallery offers rotating exhibits of artworks focused on family legacies.
